The release date for the latest attempt to keep life in the Apes saga draws ever nearer. Hope springs eternal that this version hasn’t been given the Fox screw over that Tim Burton’s (he still takes far too much of the blame for problems caused by Fox’s meddling with budgets and time scales) attempted redux was cursed with. The effects get better every time as more rendering work is completed and we’re starting to get a real sense of the story here.
