A look at movies, especially films based on books (Yes that includes comics); Opinions, facts, movie charts, production news and, when possible a look at the movies VS their source material. I may also champion books I've read that really should be movies. I've also used it to display the unedited versions of my blogs for SyFy; (The sci-fi channel UK website.)Feel free to let me know about any stories that you think deserve the big screen treatment.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo; Daniel Craig discusses the film and being bond.
The Cowboys & Alien discussions that Jon Favreau has been putting up are fascinating. Hearing from people like Spielberg, Kurtzman & Orci, Lindelof about the behind the scenes situation in Hollywood, how they got their jobs and more has been great. But a slew of Daniel Craig videos have just been released, not the least of which is this one. He praises Sony for realising that if you are going to make films of these books, you have to go 100% and that if you water them down there’s simply nothing left o film.
What may be of interest to people is the approach to the accents. Much has been made of the rumours that the actors are speaking in Swedish accents and Favreau repeats the joke (or the stick that people have been beating it with, despite not hearing anything from the movie) of the Swedish Chef from The Muppets. Craig explains how his accent won’t be that different from his own and why. Being a Brit who has known a few Swedish people, I have to say he’s right. His attitude to being Bond, to taking the role, is also interesting.
