So far there hasn’t been a single thing, other than it being Conan) that has made me want to see this film. Not even Ron Perlman, not Jason Mamoa’s excellent run as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. But this, this... I loved this and whilst it’s mostly just the visceral visuals I’m guessing that getting that right is half the battle with a film like this. That said the source material, the books, is strong so any screenwriter worth his salt SHOULD have been able to work a decent plot around all the violence and set pieces.
