I’ve only ever put one of these “soon to be removed at the request of studio lawyers” type trailers before. That was for David Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Well this is in all likelihood even bigger than that. Even though a LOT of people wish this film didn’t exist and we had been treated to Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4 , this summer instead, Spider-Man is huge. Consistently one of the biggest comic book sellers and the Spider-Man Trilogy easily makes up the most successful Super hero set of all time.
This trailer will be playing in 3D before Captain America. (This weekend for many, next weekend for others, including the UK)
So like it or not here is the (incredibly dark, shaky pirate copy) for The Amazing Spider-Man! Well for a few minutes anyway...
The irony here is that I put this one up, but not The Avengers (which is even poorer quality) and this one was pulled a lot quicker than the Avengers' trailers have been.
