Premium Rush; trailer for the Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Michael Shannon action-thriller...

This feels like the kind of film that would need somebody like Jackie Chan in the lead to pull it off. Somebody who will be able to make the bike riding stunts and choreography look quick and believable and not performed by a stunt double. (I’m not saying Joseph Gordon-Levitt won’t be able to do that, just that he’ll have to sell the physical side of the story; which looks to be very important to the success of this movie.

Synopsis...
“Joseph Gordon-Levitt & Michael Shannon star in the action thriller PREMIUM RUSH - A bike messenger with a suspicious package attracts the interest of a dirty cop”

The film is written by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, Snake Eyes, Spider-Man, Indiana Jones 4) & John Kamps (The Borroweers (1997), Zathura). Koepp is also directing the film; his previous efforts include Stir of Echoes and Ghost Town. It is due out in North America on the 12th of January: other release dates at the end...

  1. Ha,ha,well I sort of fancy Gordon - Levitt, but somehow I have difficulties shaking off my mental image off him as an weird alien in a weird family and even if I liked him in "Inception" I have to agree with you here. He might carry this film, but then he has to make a serious effort in some compartments. (PS I almost wrote "Conception" instead ; P )

  2. So you sort of fancy him eh? Interesting . (Well it may prove useful one day! But don't expect a Christmas video card from him just yet :) )

He was impressive in Inception and I'm looking forward to seeing him in The Dark Knight Rises too.

  3. ; P To be honest, even if we lived in the same apartment building and I were a MILF...the kid is still too young for me. My mental age is still 19 so sometimes I forget that time sort of passes : D
So I'll settle for Sean Bean ; P Btw, what is your opinion on Game of Thrones. I think it is a really nice series, but, in my humble opinion, it has been a bit hyped.

  4. Lol... Well I'm amused that you don't think you're a milf! :) (Seriously? Hmm)

Also in't Milf one of those terms that's both a compliment and kind of an insult at the same time? (Definitely not an insult here of course) If it makes you feel better, he may look like a baby, but he's actually 30 now. :)

My mental age is probably just hitting puberty so I know how you feel when it comes to forgetting that you're not quite 21 any more. (I have made a deal with the universe to stay 27 for the next 100 years though!)

Game of Thrones.. I love it, currently reading the books and I really did think it was a very good series. It has been enormously hyped, but maybe I got into it before I'd read too much about it? I know it can be disappointing when you see something that everyone has been going on about, because it will struggle to live up to what has been said about it. (?)

B the way are you like me, in that whenever you hear the word milf you see John Cho in American Pie chanting "Milf! Milf! Milf!" at the picture of 'Stiffler's Mum'
