Transplanting the Sam Peckinpah / Dustin Hoffman 1971 ‘cult classic’ from rural England to the ‘deep south’ of the U.S; Straw Dogs 2011 sees Superman Returns couple (James Marsden and Kate Bosworth) defending themselves against increasingly violent attacks from True Blood star Alexander Skarsgård’s character Charlie.

Once there, tensions build in their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy's ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgard), leading to a violent confrontation”
The main cast is James Marsden, Kate Bosworth, Alexander Skarsgård, Dominic Purcell, Laz Alonso, Willa Holland and James Woods. It hits North America on the 16th of Sept but not in the UK until the 4th of November...

Dominic Purcell starred as Super Villain Drake (Dracula) in Blade Trinity, a Marvel Super Hero film; which is also what X-Men is which starred James Marsdean. Marsden also starred in Superman Returns with Kate Bosworth, which was directed by Bryan Singer Director of X-Men and X2, which starred Anna Paquin as Rogue. Paquin is the main star of True Blood, where one of her main Co-Stars is Alexander Skarsgård. Skarsgård stars in Straw Dogs, where one of his co-conspirtors is Dominc Purcell, who starred in TV show Prison Break, which was produced (and pilot directed by) Brett Ratner, who Directed James Marsden in X-Men: The Last Stand.
