Transformers: Dark of The Moon. Amazing, behind the scenes, Wing-suit footage.

If you haven’t seen this yet you really should take a look. Regardless of your opinion on the Transformers movies, and even if you aren’t planning to see this film, you really should take a look at this clip.
I really want to try this BASE jump, gliding thing for myself now. You can certainly see why Michael Bay was so determined (he spent a year convincing Chicago officials to allow the jumpers to ‘fly’ around the Chicago skyscrapers) to get these people into the film.

Minor spoiler warning!!!

The final act of the film is an extremely extended and well executed action sequence, involving Autobots and humans attempting to stop the Decepticons evil schemes. The Decepticons have taken over Chicago and are doing their best to wipe it off the face of the Earth. Their control is near total and any aircraft or missiles sent their way are easily shot down. So the only thing the humans can do is send in small teams. They jump out of their transports, hopefully before they get destroyed, and ‘fly’ through the skyscrapers until they reach the lowest safe height and pull their chutes. It is a stunning sequences (by all accounts) and all the more amazing knowing that people really were zooming through the sky and the mayhem has been added to live footage.
Enjoy
