Now let’s be honest here. The Three Musketeers is basically a big, dumb pilot movie. It’s essentially a set up for the second film and it does suffer for that. Never as deep as it needs to be, never quite explaining any of its many, very interesting scenarios: it mostly just gets a pretty much perfect cast into some very well filmed action sequences and setting up their motivations for a bigger deeper sequel. As such it isn’t as much fun as it should be, but I’ll be honest, there’s not a person I’ve discussed it with who doesn’t want to see that sequel. Sure it may have a lot to do with the film’s ending. This film is too  dependent on box office success to be able to go all James Bond or Marvel Studios with a “The Three Musketeers will Return in: ,Musketeers in Space!’”, But, without spoiling it, I can simply say that it’s more like they’ve shown us the opening scene of the 2^nd film than the ending of this one! Speaking of which, I’ve also included the HD video of the first 5 minutes of the film. Aint I good to you?  Don’t answer that.
