A look at movies, especially films based on books (Yes that includes comics); Opinions, facts, movie charts, production news and, when possible a look at the movies VS their source material. I may also champion books I've read that really should be movies. I've also used it to display the unedited versions of my blogs for SyFy; (The sci-fi channel UK website.)Feel free to let me know about any stories that you think deserve the big screen treatment.

Robert Downey Jr. Bringing Perry Mason to the big screen...
Saving the World as Iron Man and one of the Avengers wasn’t
enough. Robert Downey Jr. Now solves unsolvable crimes as Sherlock Holmes. But
that still wasn’t enough, so now Franchise Man Downey Jr. is bringing
the super Lawyer Perry Mason to the big screen.
Perry Mason is the lead character in a series of books by Erle
Stanley Gardner; the film will be set in the 1930s, just like the books; although the script will be written
based on a story by Robert Downey Jr. and executive producer David Gambino.
The character appears in many short stories as well as dozens of novels and sales have passed 435 million worldwide. As well as the TV that many older readers may remember, there were several movies made in the 30s (well 6 + 1 in 1940) a radio show and even comics.
