Ho-Ho-Ho. Harold & Kumar’s own brand of dirty, madcap
comedy may not be what first springs to mind when you think about Christmas,
but this is showing signs of being their most rounded and generally funny film
to date.
TV Spot 1...
John Cho and Kal Penn have certainly become much better
known since they first struggled to get to White Castle back in 2004 (Cho most visibly
in star Trek and Penn most noticeably in House) so there’s every reason for the
big jump in takings from film 1 to film 2 to have a genuine shot at continuing
and for the film to follow the year’s pattern and finally make some decent
money outside North America.

Synopsis...
“After years of growing apart, Harold Lee and Kumar Patel
have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their
respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly
arrives at Kumar's door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to
Harold's house ends with the "high grade" contents -- and Harold's
father-in-law's prize Christmas tree -- going up in smoke. With his in-laws out
of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come
clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through
New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through
party heaven -- and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.”

Moahahaha...I must say I love Danny Trejo's wonderful "Cristmas Tree" cardigan : D But I can actually see myself relaxing to this kind of Christmas-film, just spare me the typical "everybody-is-happy-in-the US-at- Christmas-ending".
ReplyDeleteDanny Trejo in that cardigan is almost worth the ticket price by itself :) I Can't wait Met.
