A look at movies, especially films based on books (Yes that includes comics); Opinions, facts, movie charts, production news and, when possible a look at the movies VS their source material. I may also champion books I've read that really should be movies. I've also used it to display the unedited versions of my blogs for SyFy; (The sci-fi channel UK website.)Feel free to let me know about any stories that you think deserve the big screen treatment.

Dream House: 2 new clips for the spooky chiller, starring Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts & Rachel Weisz...
Our hopes are still pinned on this film being the first
decent spooky film for a while (The pretty decent horror / comedy Fright Night
not withstanding of course). Adding little children to the mix always makes things
a little creepier, as does having a leading character who may, or may not, be
behind much of the mystery, without even knowing it.
“Some say that all houses have memories. For one man, his
home is the place he would kill to forget. Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts and Rachel
Weisz star in Dream House, a suspense thriller about a family that unknowingly
moves into a home where grisly murders were committed...only to find themselves
the killer's next target. Successful publisher Will Atenton (Craig) quit a high
power job in Manhattan to relocate his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two girls to a
quaint New England town. But as they settle into their new life, they discover
their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children. And the
entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived. When Will
investigates, he's not sure if he's starting to see ghosts or if the tragic
story is just hitting too close to home. His only clues come from Ann Paterson
(Watts), a mysterious neighbor who knew those who were shot. And as Will and
Ann piece together the haunting puzzle, they must find out who murdered the
family in Will's dream house before he returns to kill again.”
“There’s something wrong with this house.” She could be
right you know? Although her inability to notice that Daniel Craig’s hair looks
appalling doesn’t fill one with confidence in her deductive powers.
