Marvel Studios as finally, after what seems like years (oh
wait it is years) put a release date on Edgar Wright’s (Shaun of The Dead, Hot
Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim) Ant-Man film. It will be the first Marvel Studios film to
be released after The Avengers 2, coming out on the 6th of November
2015. IT remains unclear if this makes it the first film of “Phase 3”, or
simply the last film of “Phase 2”; the assumption has been that the MCU phases
end with an Avengers film, but with both films being out I the same year, maybe
they have changed that.
It is no surprise to anyone that Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 are
being released in 3D; but I have to confess that it may be better to add a
little time to the production slate to allow the directors to familiarise
themselves with 3D equipment and just shoot the films in 3D to begin with yes?
Thor: The Dark World sounds extremely epic by the way; with Thor and the
Asgardians not trifling with such mundane matters as saving the world (theirs
or ours) or even the 9 realms, but the entire Universe itself. Set on this course
by…Oh I’ll just let them explain it…
Thor 2 synopsis…
