Chris Evans is probably heading towards the middle of a defining point in his career. He’s had some commercial success with The Fantastic Four movies, in which he was noted as, along with Michael Chiklis, about the only worthwhile thing in the both movies. He’s also proven he has decent acting ability in Danny Boyle’s Sunshine. However that film remains relatively little seen and getting the elusive combo of both big b=box office and praise for performance eluded him until this summer. As Steve Rogers / Captain America in this Marvel Studios’ Captain America: The First Avenger, Evans has finally managed to find a role that audiences and critics both agree (mostly, you can never please them all) that he acts very well in and is proving to be a success at the Box Office ($246.2m after 10 days). With a starring role as field commander of The Avengers coming up next summer he’s not likely to find a better time to truly latch onto the A-List.
Ana Farris is also trying to find some true success outside of the Scary Movie series and voice over work (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and the Alvin & The Chipmunks 2 & 3) The romantic comedy is a much maligned sub-genre, and to be fair it’s hardly unfair; no genre, with the possible exception of horror, seems to churn out such a high proportion of awful – average films compared to the good ones; not even great, just good. The film is based on the first Novel by Karyn Bosnak, 20 times a Lady, and is due for release in North America and the UK on the 30th of September and the rest of the world around the same time.
“Anna Faris is Ally Darling, who after reading a magazine article that leads her to believe she's going to be forever alone, begins a wild search for the best "ex" of her life. Ally's hunky new neighbor Colin (Chris Evans) helps her track down her exes, in exchange for Ally helping Colin avoid his.”
