Yeah I said it! One of the drawbacks of the internet age is the way that thousands upon thousands of people seem to find endless fun in picking apart the minutiae of films and TV shows they haven’t seen, that aren’t finished and that, to be perfectly honest, they really should trust are being done right in the first place. If Christopher Nolan can’t get a break after making Batman Begins and The Dark Knight then what’s the point?
Leaving aside the frankly racists & Homophobic responses to things like the casting of Laurence Fishburne in Superman; I though the nadir of the “Why aren’t the X-Men wearing yellow Spandex” culture was the Uhura is wearing Earrings insanity that greeted publicity posters for J J Abrams’ Star Trek. As if the complaint about them not being ‘Star Fleet issue’ weren’t ludicrous enough, the fact that Nichelle Nichols wore Earrings all the bloody tie on the show anyway just made it all the more laughable.

But no, after seeing one action still of Hathaway on bike the internet was awash with tirades about missing ears and all sorts of other nonsense. It’s a tight black cat suit, very similar in many respects to the Catwoman costumes the public was most familiar with before Michelle Pfeiffer’s hyper-iconic suit debuted in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, the suits from the 1960 Batman TV show and movie, worn y Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether and Eartha Kit. (Although they each had a different spin.) Even though Hathaway’s Dark Knight Rises poster (first pic on page) clearly hinted that Catwoman had ears.

Well today Hathaway made it clear to E! That the suit had “hidden ears”. (Information passed on through her Facebook) She was slightly lessconvincing when she said "I don't know if you've ever had to wear a catsuit in the front of the world… it does tend to get you to the gym!"
OK Anne, I’m a big fan, but I’m having trouble imagining a serious diet and exercise plan was called for to get rid of tons of flab!
