Prometheus: Meet MR. Weyland...
In an interesting piece of promotion we’re being given a “viral”
clip of Guy Pearce’s character, and hence confirmation of one of the links
between this film and the Alien films. Pearce’s Peter Weyland being the founder
of Weyland Corp; any Alien(s) fan worth his salt will know that that company
will eventually merge to become Weyland-Yutani and make an unfortunate habit of
sending poorly defended civilians to go searching for crashed alien spaceships
and biological weapons.
