OK she still really only gets to say "boom", but you see her pretty face a lot more. Well this film is only a matter of weeks away for much of
the global audience, as it comes out in April in an effort to avoid getting
squeezed by the European Football Championships and The Olympics. It still
seems like a crazy idea, but at least it seems to be bringing the “spectacular”
that goes with summer popcorn films these days. The decent $70m opening for
John Carter won’t hurt either, at least international audiences will know who
Taylor Kitsch is by name (as opposed to the Gambit guy from Wolverine.)
