The Dark Knight Rises may still be 2 months away, but its first TV spots are here now. The film that is involved in a potential three way super hero battle for number one movie of the summer, possibly of the year, has the advantage of being the last of its particular kind. The final Nolan Batman film, likely the final Bale Batman role (unless of course he returns in 10 – 20 years to play old Bruce in a Batman Beyond movie) and the last “real world” Batman film before the “franchise” shifts to a type of hero capable of co-existing with the likes of Superman and Green Lantern.

“Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
