Well in a turn of events slightly less surprising than Tony
Stark giving a snappy retort, The Avengers first full trailer, released at
17:00 GMT on Wednesday, gained a record 13.7m downloads on iTunes in its first
24 hours. Back in the middle of October the teaser trailer for The Avengers
shattered the download record by having 10 million in 24 hours. 2 months later the Dark Knight Rises mustered
an amazing 12.5 million in its first 24 hours. There’s time for either film to
break download records again, and I think it is pretty certain neither film will
flop!
