Ah Aardman, their films always bring a smile to my face. It’s
been too long since we’ve had the pleasure of being amused by them on the big
screen. Since their film-making deal with Dreamworks was ended. Their last film
was Flushed Away, waaaay back in 2006. That was their first Computer animated
movie and Arthur Christmas is also Computer Animated. Wallace & Gromit:
Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) was their last Stop-motion film. Fans of that
format, so expertly dominated by Aardman (and Nick Park in particular) only
have a few more months to wait as The Pirates! In an Adventure With Scientists (AKA
The Pirates: Band of Misfits)...

Synopsis...
“An Aardman production for Sony Pictures Animation, at last
reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to every child's question: 'So
how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?' The answer: Santa's
exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at
the heart of the film is a story with the ingredients of a Christmas classic -
a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero, Arthur, with an
urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.”
(release dates at the end)
So now that you’ve been reminded that Chrismas is a lot
closer than your bank account would like, cheer yourself up again by watching
