Here is the trailer that will be playing in front of Marvel
Studios The Avengers from Friday. Promising to continue the serious tone of Christopher
Nolan’s Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, it will attempt to take back the “best
super hero movie ever made” crown that
several critics and punters have been ceding to The Avengers in the past 5
days. (A review of that film, which is every bit as good as you’ve heard, if
not better) will be up here later today. Let’s just say it deserved every penny
of the $185m it has taken in 3-5 days in only a portion of the international
market.)
