Shall we just call 2012 the Year of The Hemsworth and get it
over with? Chris Hemsworth’s first entry is likely to be the lowest key of the
bunch. A horror film from Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
and Drew Goddard (Writer of- Cloverfield) has this film, followed a few weeks
later by a return as Thor in The Avengers, which is followed 4 weeks after that
by Snow White & The Huntsman. September sees another oft delayed film as
Red Dawn finally sees the inside of cinemas in September.
Snow White & The Huntsman trailer. Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron & Kristen Stewart take Snow White to war; is this trailer the fairest of them all? Yes, yes it is...
The Expendables 2 trailer: This time it’s...
Little brother Liam also
kicks off his year with a relatively low key film, Danny Mooney’s AWOL, before
appearing in 2 films with much higher expectations: The Hunger Games in March
and The Expendables 2 in August.
The old release date |
With 2 hits all but guaranteed it looks like Chris is likely
to win 2012’s battle of the brothers, but can this film start his year off with
a bang? One thing is certain Chris Hemsworth is a far, far bigger presence than he was when he made this film.

Whedon and Drew Goddard comes THE CABIN IN THE WOODS, a mind blowing horror
