Underworld: Awakening trailer. Kate Beckinsale returns for a new war...

The Underworld films have remained remarkably consistent at the Box Office. Even the Prequel, which dropped lead character Selene (Kaye Beckinsale) performed on a par with the first film (no in attendance of course). So it should surprise no one that there is a new instalment on the way. Beckinsale’s Selene is back, after a 12year imprisonment, and this time the main enemy appears to be the woefully outmatched, but superior in numbers, human race.

By now most people have decided if they like Underworld’s particular take on the age old Vampires & Werewolves myths; but the feeling here is that this film is being looked at as a chance to broaden the audience, in the way that the Resident evil films have managed, but Underworld never has.
