Marvel Studios’ ambitious attempt to create the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) a film world where all of its rules and many of its heroes all coexist continues to ex[and in the extra for the Thor Blu-Ray. (For those who are still unsure about the MCU, it’s not just like of getting James Bond, Jason Bourne, Ethan Hunt & Evelyn Salt into one or two massive spy movies, more that they al share the same world. If Ethan Hunt screws up and a Nuke goes off in Paris, then in the next Bond film, there’s no Paris. If Bond is in America and gets help from a C.I.A agent that same agent may be seen in a Bourne movie and yes occasionally they may cross paths too. When Indiana Jones goes to see an expert in Egyptology he sees the O’Connells from the mummy films, that kind of thing.

So here we see the first of at least two video One-Shots. This one features the “glue” of the MCU, Agent Phil Coulson (Who is surely going to be ret-conned into The Incredible Hulk sometime soon!) and agent Sitwell discuss a future meeting with General Ross regarding The Abomination. In it thy mention the Consultant (who we assume must be Tony Stark). At the end of Iron Man 2 we see Nick Fury’s video wall which has video f the attempted Hulk Capture on University grounds from The Incredible Hulk. There are also various spots on a map of the globe, including Hulk sightings, Wakanda (The African nation home of future Avenger The Black Panther) a spot in the middle of the Atlantic (Which must be Atlantis or at the least something to do with another future Avenger The Sub Mariner) Stark is rejected as an Avenger but Nick Fury does ask him to be a consultant. That then goes into the end of The Incredible Hulk (even though that film was released two years earlier) where Stark tells General Ross that they may be putting a team together...

Here’s the clip...
